About
Why we started a print magazine in 2026
There are thousands of newsletters about AI. Millions of tweets. An endless stream of LinkedIn posts from people who've “been thinking a lot about agents lately.”
Most of it is noise. Recycled takes, vendor marketing disguised as thought leadership, and hot takes that will age like milk. The signal-to-noise ratio is terrible, and it's getting worse.
We started Runpoint Magazine because we believe executives deserve better. Not more content—better content. The kind that comes from people who actually build AI systems in production, not people who comment on them from the sidelines.
Our editorial approach
Every article passes a simple test: Is this based on first-hand experience?
We don't publish predictions. We don't publish vendor comparisons. We don't publish anything that starts with “In a world where AI is transforming...”
We publish playbooks. Case studies. Honest assessments of what works and what doesn't. The kind of insight you get from sitting down with someone who just finished a hard project and asking them what they learned.
Why print?
We chose print deliberately. Not because we're nostalgic, but because the medium shapes the message. A physical magazine demands a different kind of attention. You can't skim it in a tab between Slack messages.
Print forces us to be more intentional. Every word has to earn its place on the page. There's no infinite scroll, no algorithm deciding what you see. Just six articles, chosen carefully, designed to be worth your time.
The ideas are also available online. But the print version is a different experience. The kind that changes how you think, not just what you know.
Who we are
Runpoint Magazine is published by Runpoint Partners, an AI implementation firm based in Austin, TX. We work with companies to build and deploy AI systems that actually ship.
The magazine is an extension of that philosophy. We write about what we do, because the best way to learn is from people doing the work.
